Data controller

The data controller is the publisher of this site, a non-professional private individual whose identity has been provided to the host named in the legal notice (Article 6-III-2 of the law on confidence in the digital economy).

Data collected

This site is published as static pages. It has no form, no account to create, and no advertising tracker. Its traffic is measured in aggregate form, without cookies (details in "Site traffic" below). The publisher collects, from simple reading, no data that makes it possible to identify a visitor.

Site traffic

To find out how many pages are read, which ones, and from which sites visitors arrive here, the publisher uses its own audience counter, hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Workers service and D1 database). When a page is displayed, a short script sends the site itself, which passes them on to this counter, just two pieces of information: the address of the page viewed (without its parameters) and the name of the site you came from, if any. It sends nothing when the page is reloaded or reopened with the "back" button.

The counter sets no cookie, does not use browser storage, and assigns no identifier: it cannot recognize a visitor from one page or one visit to the next. It records neither your IP address nor your browser's characteristics: only aggregated counters, namely a number of views per site, per day, per page, and per referring site. Visits by known bots are counted separately, under the name of their family only, and never mixed with visits. These counters are kept for 25 months at most, before being erased.

The same script also counts clicks to the store that this site recommends. When a link to it is followed, it reports to the site, which relays it to the same counter, the address of the page where the link was located, the type of link (link in the text, inset, or button), and the name of the site you had come from to reach that page, if any, and nothing more. The counter keeps only a number of clicks per day, per page, and per format, and a number of clicks per day by origin (search engine, assistant, social network, direct access), without cookies and without identifiers, for 25 months at most.

These statistics are used exclusively to measure the audience of this site, solely on behalf of the publisher. They are neither cross-referenced with other processing, nor used for advertising purposes, nor sold. They do not make it possible to track you on other sites. So framed, audience measurement is not subject to your consent (Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the CNIL recommendations on audience measurement); it is based on the publisher's legitimate interest in knowing the traffic to its site.

You can object to it at any time, with reading remaining the same, by turning off JavaScript, or by blocking in your content blocker the address /x08dp5ez/ch8ir4n1f of this site, to which the script sends its signal.

Technical data held by the host

Cloudflare, Inc., the host, may keep connection logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested, user agent) for security purposes and to ensure the service runs properly. This processing depends on the host and its privacy policy, which are beyond the publisher's control.

The law on confidence in the digital economy (Article 6-II) requires certain connection data to be kept for a limited period, for the investigation and detection of offenses.

Cookies

No cookie is set by this site, including for audience measurement. If an advertising tool or another tracker were ever added, this section would be updated and a consent mechanism installed before any tracker that is not strictly necessary is set.

Online stores

Links sometimes lead to online stores. None of these links contains a tracking identifier, and the product images shown here are served by this site itself. Elsewhere, the privacy policy of the site visited applies.

Visitor rights

You have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability regarding the data concerning you. Because this site collects no data that identifies you, it holds, in principle, nothing about you; for any request, you can contact the host named in the legal notice, which will forward it to the publisher.

International transfers

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., whose servers may process data outside the European Union. The safeguards provided by the GDPR, including standard contractual clauses, govern these transfers.

The audience measurement counters are stored in a database located in the European Union. Each signal may be briefly processed by Cloudflare, Inc. outside the Union, on the server closest to the visitor; Cloudflare adheres to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, supplemented by the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
